  • Can Standard Muzzleloader's do this?

Just wondering: Can a standard in-line muzzleloader fire 12 ga. BB shot? Would I need a "shotgun" barrel or would the rifle barrel be fine. If I seat the shot in plastic cylinder with a wad on top.

    thanks

  • Can you explain this? Weakened railroad tracks? 9/11 theory people?

OK, 9/11 truth movement peeps. Riddle me this:

Heat kinks---is a railroad term for the tracks deforming due to summer heat.

    http://www.vre.org/service/commuterweekly/archives...

    http://www.depotnews.com/CSX/020801CSXa.htm

    http://whyfiles.org/069renew_energy/1.html

The tracks can shift from mere inches to feet.

So, if the SUN can "kink" steel and deform it. Why is it so hard to fathom a 700-1000 Deg F fire could not kink and cause structural failure to the buildings of the WTC??

  • Why is war such a issue?

Every major war has always breed contraversy.

Starting with WW2, IMO. At the on set of WW2 everyone was gung-ho. Hundreds of thousands signed up. The homefront stepped into gear. UNTIL:

One thing got in the way: THE MEDIA

After the battle of Iwo Jima, which was shown on theathre screens across America, the WAR turned to a political issue.

So, is the media to blame for all our woes in Iraq? Why does the media only show negative crap. Can we not see one shread of good the soldiers do in Iraq?

What happened to the media in Afghanistan, why hardly any coverage on it now?

    What are your thoughts?

  • What makes a Conspiracy theory believable?

I have looked at and read 99.9% of all of them ranging from Roswell to the current notions of 9/11.

I have noticed a few common trends:

    1) They all distort or bend the "quotes" of eyewitnesses

    2) They all use grainy pictures

    3) Use obscure documents and paperwork

    4) Change and distort the half-truths into complete truths

    Example: 9/11:

    The Hunt the boeing farse:

Is it really all that hard to see the plane parts and compare them to the drawings of boeing and conclude that it was a boeing 747-200 that hit the Pentagon. Seriously, I am not an expert in avaition though I did serve in the USN working on military jets.

I think it is a serious injustice to the USA as a whole that the lies continue to spill forth. None of the sites bring anything new forth just the same lies: Compiled into a false truth. Is it tragic in the least.

My ability to reason and understand physics is why I refute the 9/11 inside job claim. how about you?

  • WHY? all the CARP??

Yes,,,,I spelled crap wrong to bring on the POINT!!!

I am a fairly new member to YA(Yahoo Answers)....Why must the Republicans bash the Democrats and vice versa???

And one more thing: Why do the republicans always slate(IMO) democrats as Liberals??? I am a moderate democrat.

Liberal is a term not showwing of a political party but what your standing agenda is..there are liberal/modern repubilcans, right?? The same hold for conservative. Cant we all just be political without all the bashing.

I have my policital stance you have yours. Why the Bashing???

    Thanks: have a happy holidays!!!

  • Will this work for chicken breast?

I enjoy cooking alot: I am Man hear me roar: MEOW...HAHA

    Seriously:

LAST USED: Boneless thick Pork chops: Was excellent.Below is what I did:

I made some bread crumb, shrimp stuffed(pre-boiled, sauted in olive oil, salt, pepper, green onions, and red bell peppers) stuffed pork chops....Pan seared....then baked at 350.

I also made the following: White wine Green beans: fresh green beans simmered. Fresh ground Mint leaves and Butter on bread(toasted like garlic breads). removing the Tart from the beans( I believe Wine is Tart ) last but not least. I created a Sour coffee tart(no Sugar) covered in Sweet Chocolate...again to counter the flavors.

Ok: Pork is a Dull meat no flavor unless you make it so: BUT::: Chicken Breasts contain alot of salty Fat(i do not trim, Fat is Flavor)

What should I change in this recipe, if any to make it work with chicken????

    Thanks any comments?

  • What would you chose? .308 or .243?

I am an Avid hunter. I own a remington .270. i am looking to purchase a new rifle. Looking over the ballistics of both the .243 and .308 they are very similar.

I am leaning more toward the .243. I only hunt whitetail deer.

My shots range from 30 yards out to about 150...I could shoot alot farther but I know I am not good enuff to shoot out pass 200 yards. I owe that to the animal.

So what caliber would you chose and why?

    Thanks

  • Now that NASA is going to the MOON, do you think it is good or bad?

I believe it is a good thing:

Sure we have the "we should go to mars" people. The question is do they realize that is it the earths gravity that is the expense, inwhich, man must leave. By building a moon base and creating a landing station. could it not be possible to save money and expense in the BIG picture.

Saying if the so called Mars manned space flight left from the moon and not earth. Granted we would have to build it on the moon or on earth...The wise thing to do would be to build it on Earth launch it into high orbit and sling shot to the moon base. Instead of building it piece by piece say at the ISS. then going to the moon.

We could then...Save fuel cost...time and money...by going from the moon to mars..Beside the fact that given the correct trajectory we would be alot closer in miles.

  • Who made these up? The 9/11 theories?

Seriously, where do the people get this stuff: I have seen loosechange 2nd edition and any other video out there linking the govt to 9/11. I have to say it is farse. Several reasons:

    1) The towers failed: Not because the steel beams turned to "molten" metal. They warped and bent. Causing failure.

    2) If is was controlled demolition as claimed: why did the top fall first? In all the video evidence used from other buildings they fall bottom up. Not top down?

    3) The the demo building video's show 100's of mini explosions used to blow out the buildings support and bring it down. The WTC "explosions" show 8 so called demo charges. Clearly not enough to topple the 5th tallest buildings in the world.

    4) The Pentagon: Airplane shredded on impact with reinforced concrete and steel.

so conspirecy people how can you fathom the non-sense?

  • What is Overwhelming? 9/11 Theories?

What happened to the Jet that hit the Pentagon. Look at this site and decide:http://news.uns.purdue.edu/UNS/html4ever/020910.So...

Thats right you conspiracy people: it shattered into thousands of tiny pieces. Like it should have slicing through a building made of columns. Not that I could ever change our mind. I wish you would just look at the proof. If the govt was trying to cover up 9/11 why are all the people writing the theories still alive?? DUH

  • Why is Iraq about everything but the truth?

First: Iraq under Saddam's regime trained and harbored terror fighters.

Second: He Gassed the Kurds. Granted In 1988. (America dropped two Atomic bomb in 1945. America did not stop making atomic/nuclear bombs.)

So, why would Saddam quit making Serin, Mustard Gas??

The Proof is out there. Let me show you. I am not asking anyone to agree. Just take a moment. Too look at what I believe are facts that the Media does not want us to know.

  • Is the Price to High for Iraq?

The number of soldier deaths hovers around 2800. Granted that is a bad number. But lets look at ww1, ww2, and Vietnam.

Granted you cant see it by mothly numbers. But have a look. Are we really having that much to gripe about.

    WW1 http://users.cybercity.dk/~dko12530/ww1.htm

    WW2: http://www.warchronicle.com/numbers/WWII/deaths.ht...

    Vietnam: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vietnam_War

But, it is surprising on this I found:

http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/en/doc/2003-11/14/con... ---Says we are sort of on par with Vietnam. Granted at the time: America only had 17,000 troops in Vietnam when this was compared at both wars 3yr marks. So, try not to take it out of context.

  • Why the Stemmed Hate of the War on Terrorism?

Just curious here: I am veteran. I know and have seen the good come out of the war on terrorism. Via letters, videos, etc from my friends serving on the ground. I was in a Support role per say. 6 years USN. Both current battlefields in the War on terror:

People argue no WMD's: see this link(S)

    http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTI...

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/ne...

People argue Saddam had no Terrorists ties:

    http://www.nysun.com/article/3413

    http://www.washingtontimes.com/commentary/20060408...

These few links are just the tip of the spear. I am not sure why the mainstream media is hiding these facts. And/or why some polictians want to keep claiming"No WMD's found".

Now granted this is just a quick put together of some "news" facts. I have looked at both sides of the arguement. The WMD's have not been found in mass but some things have. correct?

  • Do you support the War and the Troops?

Ok, I did buy into that "I support troops, but not the War" BUT: I was in the war. Granted not on the ground. But Us Navy. Not any more I have seen the light per say.

So, If soldiers are WARriors, they are trained to do a Job. Which is fight another Army, terrorist, etc. etc. How can we allow this to be said?

It is not similar to: I support IBM, I just dont like computers?

Just my thoughts, what are yours?

    Politic Policy aside

  • Why do Crazed Anti's bother us in the hunting forums??

You got to have more to do in life than try to base a useless arguement over the morals of hunting. How about you try something you fear? i tried skydiving and guess what it is fun. I tried bungy jumping..guess what it too is fun.

Please find a new hobby like basketweaving. I tried that too..guess what it is fun.

  • Democrats! What changes do we see for 2008?

Now that Mid-terms are over..and the American people have spoken. Do we see a reversal in the 2008 presidential election with a Democratic President? And if so, are the American people allowing to let the Democrats ride congress for 12 years. As the Republicans have?

  • How Many terrorist Attacks on American occurred since 1993?

1 that was 9-11..by islamic terrorists

We could class the FBI building also..but it was done by american fanatic.

    My point is simple:

13 years occured from one attempt to the other.

Are we any safer today? if so, prove it.

Has our tax dollars gone to more technology to better detect and classify a terrorist attack?

i can not grip the fact that we are any safer because of airport security or border control, and anything else we attempt.

These terrorists have all the time in the world. is that not clearly evident in the 13 year span between tower attacks.

Why should we have to give up civil rights and lose alittle freedom to gain nothing? I want to know one other thing also.

Were is the proof that all of this is working? 630 billion in borrowed money seems alot to know one thing..we are not any better off.

  • If the Iraq war lasts until say 2009 . What would we do?

I am totally speaking hypotheically here:

Democrats win the current House and Senate, In 2008 the presidential election shows a Democrat in offce or maybe say a liberitian who knows? Just something along these lines:

History all taught what happened in Vietnam when we left. If, the issue is not resolved and we do leave what turmoil do you see for the Iraqi people and the middle east as a whole?
