Three things you need to do.
Port forward to one of the machines port 3389. You can only forward the port to one machine so what you will need to connect to that computer and then if you need to use that connection to connect to the other computer.
Enable Remote Connections on your home machines
Learn your public IP address, this is usually displayed in the current connection details of your modem/router (different for every brand so I can't be too specific)
From outside just connect to the public IP address and you should be in!
Don't worry too much about security as RDP is encrypted anyway. Just make sure you use a strong password! Because if I port scan your connection I can tell that you have Remote connections enabled.

Its simple. Your Ethernet Cards IP Address cannot be accessed from the External Network but can be possible with your Router IP Address.
You should know your IP Address for your Router. Normally it should be something like
192.168.16.1
10.0.0.2
Or else, it will be printed on the manual. Log into your Router's Homepage and set a very very strong password for your Router's IP Address that none can guess. There's an Option called NAT (Network Address Translation) Find it and enable NAT.
Then, type your Router's IP address from an external network and it should ask you for a User Name and Password. Just give the User Name and Password that you set for your Router's IP. It should open your Router's Home Page.
Suppose you want to open your C Drive. All you have to do is to share your C Drive and issue the following command from outside
Your IP Address/Your Drive Name + $
e.g. 192.168.16.52/C$
You should see your C Drive.
Best of Luck

You would have to open a port in your router. An easier (and safer) way would be to use some sort of VPN (Virtual Private Network) software like Hamachi, LogMeIn, or OpenVPN.
