What is a good setup for training points if you are soloing? Better to dual weild, 2hand wep or wep/shield?

For solo leveling, it's probably best for you to use a 2-handed weapon and go Mortal Strike-spec.
Go to http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/ and read the stickies on the warrior forums for information on what you should spec for this build.
The problem with dual wielding when you're non-60 is that none of the gear you're wearing has any +hit. When you dual wield, your chance to miss goes up to about 24%, meaning unless you have +hit gear, you're going to be missing hearly 1/4 of all your attacks. Not only does this mean you're losing 1/4 of your damage, but you're losing one of the biggest benefits you have as a fury warrior - fast rage generation. No hits = no rage generated.
Using a 1-hander and a shield is typically not useful if you're solo leveling up because you want to do maximum damage. It's a matter of killing the mobs before they kill you, and kill them as fast as you can so you lose as little life as you can.
However, it is ALWAYS a good idea to keep a 1-handed weapon and a shield handy for when you need to tank mobs in an instance.
Once you reach lvl 50+ and are able to accumulate gear with +crit and +hit, then it is just a matter of personal preference. Do you like swinging slow but seeing big giant crits pop up? Or, do you prefer getting in lots of little hits but always having rage to use various instant attacks?

erm..it depends on individual actually. i have a warrior and when i lvl him up, im partly arms/ full berserk war. i prefer to hit fast, cuz rage generation is VERY fast you don have to worry much abt not having enff rage.
whereas MS are good for pvp, i think, esp against healers, and they come with much higher crits den bloodthrist.

2H mortal strike cause DW needs alot of %hit while 2H only needs about 5% to never miss, fyi 2h needs 24%
