You present a complicated problem. I doubt anyone has a simple answer for. But I can tell you something that will help. With some practice you could train yourself to calm down during tests. Take tests for no reason, take and retake practice tests. Read about taking tests. Attend test taking courses. Everyone gets a little worried during tests. They want a good score and don't want to retake a course because of a bad test. That's completely normal and your just more worried than most and can work to reduce that. Or just never take another test again. It's a bit extreme but you don't have to take them. You just won't advance in the world of higher learning. Your an introvert and the world has lots of them. Be happy to avoid the party people, outgoing extroverts, their always trying to impress others and it's a lot of work and really means nothing. They are never satisfied and have to use others to be happy. They are driven by adrenaline, it makes them happy to be stressed. You are the opposite it makes you freak out. Your not into that drug and it is a drug. Every time you get stressed, adrenaline is released and you start to shut down. You can't handle it, so avoid it. Think about it, I think that is at the center of all your problems. Take a course or read about meditation. Biofeedback . If you could manage adrenaline and it's effects on you, you would do better, I think.

I don't so much fear death as the kind of pain that usually preceeds it. It's more of a going-to-the-dentist kinda' thing. It saddens me that I will likely lose my existance there and that there is nothing than can bring me back, since I would love to see where the world is going were I unburdoned by years. Yet the things I love are largely here, not in heaven or hell, so I'm not sure I would get as much out of the life after as it might seem like I would at first, even if I made it to heaven.

What we really need is a cosmology that lets different people worship different gods and get to places that fit the beliefs they opted to follow. *sigh* The whole Judeochristian heaven feels like becoming God's pet, living in his throne room and singing and playing our harp for his enjoyment. What's the purpose of living a clean good life for that, loving one another, reading the Bible and going to church? Shouldn't we be taking music lessons instead?

I've lived a good life so far, I have no reason to fear death. And as for fearing him who can destroy both soul and body in hell, I gave up worrying about things that probably don't exist when I was about 6, monsters under the bed don't scare me, and neither does some vindictive god whos going to send me to hell because i don't worship him. personally if anything, quotes like this just turn me away from the very notion of it. I like to live in reality.

That ain't gonna stop anyone from sweating or experience lack of bladder control with a Reuger pointed between your eyes. Let's wire the Pope and the Ayotollah up to an EKG and run the experiment and see if their heart don't skip a beat and rise up from 85 to 185 BPM.

Look at this quote that I just read 20 minutes ago from the book Dracula:

Nope. I've had a gun shoved in my face by a so-called Christian and asked if I believed in god now. I knew better than to turn away so I just reached up, corrected his aim, and told him I didn't believei n any god so small and weak as to be held by a bit of lead and copper.

I probably would have survived the position he had the gun in at first had he fired, I would not have survived the position I put the gun in had he fired after I corrected his aim.

Death... death I'm okay with.

PAIN... pain I'd rather not deal with.

I don't fear being killed. I'd prefer the Lord called me home in my sleep but either way death will happen. I will say I'm not afraid of death.
