ok it sounds like that you are stying ta be understanding and nice but being to nice isnt good tell him the way you feel and tell him that you tried ta b understanding but you cant and that you really dont want him ta talk to her and trust me she wants something and hun its not milk money its your man some women dont no a good thing untill its gone and it sounds like ta me that shes one of those women so any how talk to him about it and if he doesnt understand then dump him because your his gf and your feelings should come first b4 hers good luck

no your not being silly at all! if you guys have been going out for a year, then y in the world wouldnt he have told his xgirlfriend?? and y would your boyfriend still be talking to his x if he didnt have feelings for her anymore?...or is he starting to have feelings for her? im not saying you should be jealous...dont. obviously you two are still together because he treasures you more than her. but you two need to talk it out. if it is bothering you, he cant read your mind! so tell him exactly what you wrote here. just tell him that you think its weird that he is still talking to his x. tell him that she obviously has feelings for him, and the best way to get her to stop is to give her sometime away from it all.

I think you may have been beaten by jealously and no you shouldn't tell him it makes you seem overly jealous and a bit clingy. So as long as he doesn't do anything to show that he is interested in her still, you should bite yo tongue and maybe write it down how you feel and burn it later.
