I used to have a lot of respect for the Democratic party. I think in future years we're going to see its demise, unfortunately.

I think you could start by saying how the Dems plan to preserve our peace and freedom if they continue on their previous path. I mean, their record is not too good on fighting terrorism. They fought against the tools that we need in place to track terrorists plots through wiretapping, patriot act, etc. I think they're gonna change it back to when Clinton was President when the intelligence agencies couldn't share intelligence, we couldn't eavesdrop on terrorists, etc.

2/3 of the government are Republican controlled (Exec and Judic) so its really the majority Reps to help the minority Dems realize it

I think the recent elections showed quite clearly that Republicans are not behind their war loving president... once he is gone, we should all be able to start to live in peace again. Unless, he manages in the next two years to babble us into a world war... he is sure trying.
