re-heated pre-cooked turkey cold inside?

So I have a pre-cooked turkey. I tried to reheat it in the oven for like 2 hours but I keep trying the thermometer thingy and it's cold inside! The directions said something about a foil tent but I just covered the thing with aluminum foil.. is that ok?

Anyway, I was wondering why it's coldish on the inside and how I can fix it :(

Update:

Re-heated at 350

Update 2:

ok so cut it up, put it in a pan, and stick it in the oven? how long?

It's really difficult to re-heat a turkey that's whole. You might wind up with a really dry turkey. I'd slice it up first, put the slices in a pan with a teeny bit of water, cover the pan with aluminum foil, then heat it. It'll heat more evenly that way.

Start with about 20 min at 350, then add time as you feel it's needed.

You could probably just cut it apart and then put the peices you've taken off in a pan/tray and cook them like that instead. Really no difference since your gonna cut the turkey up after it's done anyway.

Dont try and fix it any further as one person suggested slice it up then I suggest you place it on a plate cover with tin foil and place on a pot filled with very hot water this will heat it gently without drying it out further any part you dont eat I would throw out your dicing with food poisoning as it is

u may have to split that sucker in half, put some water in the bottom of the pan and then re-heat it.. based it often so it wont become too dry...
