my eyes are swollen from an allergic reaction, will benadryl help me?

It should, but you may need something more effective. Take 2 capsules equalling 50mg of the Benadryl. If you don't see relief in 45 min, have ANY breathing difficulty, go to the ER. You may need a shot of Epinephrine to stop the reaction. Just be careful and have someone with you to help monitor your symptoms.

Maybe, Maybe Not.
You never know. Try eyes drops on top of things (you want stuff out of your eyes).
If your haveing a reaction to food or something like that (maybe medicacine),.. Benadryl will likely not help,.... atleast not enough. You should see a Doctor in such a case.

Yes, Benadryl is the best over the counter antihistamine.

I guess benadryl will be okay but make sure to take it before sleeping because it'll make you really feel sleepy.

If not go to the chemist the pharmasist will be able to help you if you cant get an appointment at the doctors - your eyes are too precious to mess with.
