no, sorry i haven't, but i was spaced out one night when i was filling my tank and grabbed the diesel hose and filled it with diesel, man, did that puppy smoke..lol
i took it to a nearby empty field, removed the fuel line and drained the tank, went back to the service station and filled it with premium...nothing was hurt, but it looked like it was on fire for a while with all the smoke..

Yes. Military variation of Kaw KLR 650 was supposed to be available to civilians 2010 but military contract extended- some have made it to a few dealers though. Some small scale production using Landidni and Haatz diesel engines. A few using Yanmar diesel engine from Japan- one in Milwaukee area that was at bike show 2012 and 2013.

Yes! I read about one this year. A turbo diesel cruiser. Performance was very good. Looks like a great bike and will go into production next year.
I couldn't deal with the sound of a diesel though.

No never, but i will tell you
I rode a Honda 125 alcohol powered in Brazil in 1987.
I t was a strange ride if you think of types of fuel you can ride on.
It rode smoothly as it could be. i don't know if they still get it.
Brazil has a great way to get around. Alcohol.
USA should try and get their motor vehicles on that.
