where do you draw the line between what is and is not a sport?
ok so most people agree that basketball or soccer or football is a sport. but what about nascar? competitive board games? juggling? any other borderline thing?

I "draw the line" where success depends on the participant being in better physical condition than the opponent or not. Thus, NASCAR is a sport, board games not. Juggling? Well, you could make an argument that conditioning is a factor, but geez...

i draw the line when something is physical like many people say cheer isnt a sport, but they havent seen the real cheer and i dont think they would last a day with my coach. nascar yes competitice board games are a competition not a sport

If it's fun, it's sport. If it involves a coach in a locker room telling the team how useless they were for ******* up in the final quarter, or grown men reduced to tears because their team didn't win, then it goes beyond sport and becomes pathological. I have no physical prowess whatsoever, but I can drive better than you. Does that make me a sportsman or a wanker?
