i turned on my computer and??
when i logged on to the internet all of my browser bars are gone, the only thing that comes up is the yahoo page. my clock is even gone along with my buttons for options etc. can someone help.

wow, this can be a result of many bad bad things. My first guess is that you got fit by some scumware or any other type of malware.
What I would do is go to http://www.safer-networking.org/ and download Search&destroy Spybot and and let it run a full scan of your system. I would at would very quickly find all kinds of things wrong.
Scumware, Adware, Malware are in a different catagory from viruses. This is why you need a 2nd or even a 3rd software package on your system to stop this because they are not considered viruses.
On my system I have Norton Corporate version, E-pest, S&D spybot and Prevx protecting my computer.

Right click on the standard Bar of the Browser nad make sure all toolbars are selected.

If the Menu Bar is visible then, select View - Toolbars and select the menus one by one.
If the Menu Bar too is not visible then, Select Alt + V and you will see the Menu Bar then do the above steps.
