chances are that with 12% peroxide they will just go pink. you need a 30% or 40% which you can buy in all good superdrug stores in the B Blonde range. if not then your best bet is to go for one of the pre lightening kits with the bleach in it. i am a hair dresser so i know.
My best advice would be to go to a proper colourist and have them changed. they would normally advise not to do it within 4 washes, but i have had no problem with it before.
then when you get the brown low lights again make sure you go for a more chocolate ashen brown, rather than anything with even the slightest tint of red in it.
Good Luck!

Hello there, I'm a hairdresser, chances are that the hair will break before the correct shade is reached, if you bleach over.. my advice would be, to go to a hairdresser, let her just give you advice.. you don't have to have it done there, just ask for her to point you in the right direction as to your natural hair colour.. she would probably advise toning the whole hair colour down with a semi permanent colour close to your natural, and re foiling the blonde, avoiding the previous low-lights, which would be covered..

If you go over them with a high percentage bleach your hair is likely to break i would suggest you go back 2 the hairdreesers and get it redone or visit another salon and ask them to put a toner on your hair its alot friendlier than bleach and itll kill the red tones good luck x

um im not sure about the rest but i know that 12% peroxide is alot because I use 3% peroxide cream to change my hair coulour to a red/brown colour. My hair is naturaly medium brown. So espeicialy if your gonna darken your hair you dont need all that peroxide. I dont think so anyway good luck xxx

Don't do it unless you feel like damaging your hair and having it break or worse fall out. Double processing is way bad for your hair. Give it some time, with washing and what not they won't seem so harsh.

Yes that is a possibility.....give it a rest or have it done professionally--bleach can break your hair if not applied properly.

If you must have them fixed, I wouldn't do it yourself, I would go to the salon and have them do it.
