    You can search the 'net,,,it seems that "everybody" is getting excellent results from Brasso

    Brasso is only "coincidentally" good for polishing plastic.

    It just happens to work very well,even though not specifically compounded for that purpose.

    Novus Products are specifically designed For Polishing/Cleaning plastics.

    I've used Meguiar's Mirror Glaze plastic cleaner/polish products

    for almost 40yrs,,,on more different stuff than I can type here.

    And to "repair" all sorts of damage ,,age,fire,chemical,collision,...

    It's the best there is....

    but a bit pricey & almost impossible to find locally at retail places

    Bring it to a local CD/video game store and ask if they can resurface it. That's about the only way to do it. There is a store by me that does it for $1.50 each i think.

    I was not aware that you could stretch CDs. I have never had that problem. I know that sometimes women get stretches from having babies.
