employees or bosses making sexual gestures or their conduct at work is getting you mad-- safety equiptment not in place or jury rigged-- very dangerous-- a employee that seems to really agitate you for a silly reason-- or being a bouncer at a bar for the unruly and drunk people-- having to train a wild tiger with no experience (lol) hope the tiger is fed and not hungry-- or say having to work in 120 degree weather on the desert with fire ants crawling up your leg--

"Hostile work environment" pertains to situations where sexual harassment has or is occuring.

Many people think that an angry or an uncomfortable work situation make up a "hostile work environment" but that's incorrect. There is nothing illegal about someone, even a manager, being a jerk. As long as he/she is an equal opportunity jerk - meaning that the behavior is not based on illegal discrimination.
