Happy Feat? Did you like it? Did you think it was kid appropriate?
I took my 4 and 9 year old- and thought it was horrible. Bashed religion stereotyped Hispanics, sexual innuendo and was so geared toward the environmentalist.
Arghhh...Not the happy dancing penquins that was advertised.
Forgot to mention: YES, I get that I should of looked more into it before taking the kids...but sheeshhhh..is it just me or does it not look like such a cute and fun kids movie??? Also, yes, the music and graphics were great, blah blah. however I am talking content.

I agree and disagree with the use above I would have taken my kids without checking that yahoo's movie list ( half I hardly agree with ) if a local dj had not pointed out how horrible it really is.... then I looked it up. I will not take my kids to see that. It seems like the old bait and switch. Lure the kiddies to beg mommy and daddy to see a cute penguin movie then BAM nothing like you expect.
I am glad someone else noticed it for the garbage it is.
oh and the first user.. we should not GET OVER IT as you said this is a movie advertised for children not adults. If it was marketed as a adult movie then it would be fine.

I loved it... I went because my fiancee thought it would be a cute movie and I was really wrong it was highly entertaining and the animation and visuals were phenominal. I have read on the internet a million times about how the movie bashes religion, degrades hispanics, its violent and its too sexual. Get over it are we that politically correct that we cant just go to a movie and have a good time and laugh?

As the parent, you are responsible for checking into movies before you take small children to see it.
Next time, you should check out Yahoos! Movie Mom reviews first, I never go to any movie with out reading the Movie Mom reviews first.
However, thanks for the heads up, so now I dont even have to look at the review.
