Why would God create hundreds of different peoples and cultures if there is only one appropriate way to behave

Most religion is about behavior control. However, true religion is about having a relationship with God.

Think of a marriage. In marriage, there are things you do and don't do. You don't cheat on your spouse. It's not about behavoir control. It's about having a relationship with your spouse. All marriages are different. However, all of them require that each person gives.

God wants a unique relationship with every person on earth. However, there are certain things that harm the relationship. You can't just go out and say bad things about God if He is your friend. You can't commit adultery and cheat on God if He is your lover. It doesn't matter what culture you live in, certain things are harmful and hurtful to God.

What would you do if a guy cheated on you? Think about how hurt God is everytime one of us cheats on Him by worshipping a false God.

If God is real and true, then He is the same to all. This means, it doesn't matter what culture you are in, God is still the same. And so, we should NEVER interpret Holy texts in the context of our own cultures and times. If we did, we are trying to make God into something we want or like. If God is real, we need to think about who He is? What does God like? What hurts God? What pleases God?

If we truly want to have a good relationship with God, like friends, then we need to be open to God. We need to accept God for who He is. We need to look for Him and seek Him.

You're assuming that God created different cultures the way He created different ethnicities. This isn't the case. Cultures are created over time by people. The idea that there is only one appropiate way to behave isn't refuted by cultural differences. You're implying moral relativism. The problem is that people don't behave appropiately and they often make their inappropiate behavior part of their culture. Just look at Jim Crow laws, honor killings, lynchings, female circumcision, slavery, police torture, apartheid, and witchhunts.

Just my opinion but These hundreds of differnt peoples and cultures all have very simulare guidelines to living and yes if you interperate these text into the context of our own times they all (from pagans to catholics) have the same major rules.

The majority of these (from every culture) holy texts date back to god knows when, when there was basicly no technology to speak of, i think it is nessassary to interpret these text into our own times and cultures.

God created man. Equal. We as the human race have fallen away from the one true path. God is not to blame for our failings. There is only one way to heaven and that is through Jesus Christ, period. The scriptures are the same no matter what " culture " you live in or who you are.

Why would God require we accept Jesus to be saved but not put Jesus' teachings in every culture of the world. Does this mean 2/3 of the world is going to hell just because they weren't told about Jesus?

Why does Mars Candy create so many different colours of M&Ms, when they are all the same on the inside (except for the nuts)? If we were all the same (God forbid Demorats) wouldn't it be boring?

Because if he just created one particular race, the World would be so boring. And there are 2 ways to behave, be fruitlful, and multiply.

He did it because we wanted it. I mean we'd still speak the same language if some people did what God told them to which was to stop building the tower of Babolaun. I mean we woud have the same culture if they'd stopped but they wouldn't listen. So it's all based on man's decision's not God's he only reacts to what we give and he stops them when he feels it's gone to far.

God created us in him image, though we all have different skin color. Their is only one way to behave with common courtesy.
