Loved that show!

The first season is already out on DVD. It took a while, but the 2nd season is finally coming out in Dec (around Christmas time I think).

It was probably the best series out of the "super-vehicle" craze- Knight Rider, Airwolf, Blue Thunder and Streethawk. The plots were more serious and kept it focused more on the story and characters than just showing off the vehicle and what new gadgets could you put on it.

One of the extra goodies from the show was the great music score by Levay.

Unfortunately, it took a negative turn in the 3rd season... the network wanted to turn it into more of an action show, and the show creator/ producer left. The changes made weren't good ones if you liked how the series was originally, and Jan Michael Vincent's alcohol problems got worse enough to start affecting filming. That and the lower ratings for the 3rd season led to the cancellation.

USA network picked it up and did a 4th season, but it had too much against it. They couldn't afford to bring back any original actors, and they couldn't use the chopper anymore... so all of the flying scenes in the 4th season are reused footage from the previous 3 seasons.
