What's a better record winning percentage wise? 8-5, or 7-5-1?

I'm fighting for my playoff life in a 20 team league and I'm in 9th place. The top 8 get in. The 2 records I'm asking for are 8-5 (that's me if i win this week), or 7-5-1(3 other teams are 7-4-1 now).

    8-5 is better, since it is better than 7-5 and a tie is not as valuable as a win.

    Total points may matter in your league. Check tha rules dude.

    To figure out a winning percentage, you take the number of wins divided by the number of games played. If you win, you have 8 wins out of 13 games, a winning percentage of 61.5% Your opponents would have a winning percentage of 53.8% Keep in mind, its a WINNING percentage, not a win/tied percentage.     You ll have one more win thats half a game ahead of them your in the lead with half a game
