how can i lose 10-15 pounds quickly?
I'm 16 years old, 126 pounds, and i'm 5'3". i'm dancing roughly 15-20 hours a week, and i'm walking for 40 min. every night (about 1.75 miles) but i can't seem to lose the amount of weight i want to any idea's?

Its not health to lose it "really quickly."
If you are dancing and walking that much, then it tends to suggest that your leg muscles are pretty toned, right? Muscle weighs more than fat. For your height, you are technically within the normal range if you have a large body frame.
If you are really concerned about it, then you should lower your caloric intake by about 500 calories a day. it sounds like you get plenty of of exercise. I think that you probably weight a little more due to muscle mass. Muscle also holds onto water, which increases your weight.
If you want to lose weight, expect to do so by losing about 0.5 to 2 pounds per week. Quick ways to lose that much weight at your current weight could be harmful.

You're in normal range. You don't need to lose any weight. Unless you want to go around looking like a skeleton. But that's just sickening. Besides, when I was your age I had the same height and weight. I'm 5'10 now and weigh 133 (I'm trying to lose baby weight after having twins).
There is no healthy way to lose 10-15 pounds quickly. If you lose that much that quickly it could put a strain on your heart; people have died from it.

Watch your diet, remember to read nutrition facts on everything and keep count. A 120 pound girl who eats 1200 calories a day would lose probably about 1.5 pounds a week, or on the other hand, eating 1600 calories a day and working out (extra) 400 calories a day would also result in that same count.

How is your eating? It seems like you are working out a lot -- maybe too much -- you need to eat around 1200 calories a day min -- sometimes i drop down to 1000 a day - but i know that is too low -- try lean proteins and not too many carbs and lots of fruits and veggies -- water too! also - give it some time ---try it for 2 weeks -- then if nothing changed you need to change something -- you should loose 1-2lbs per week....

You're still young. Don't do anything drastic. The weight will drop off if you keep your exercise routine. But be sure regularly (try 6 small-medium meals). This helps to speed up your metabolism.

you're 126 lbs??? that is perfect weight for your age and for any girl. just keep excersizing like u are doing and dont eat junk food (fast food or candy/processed sugars)
Just eat healthy. lots of water everyday, no fast food(Mcd's) processed flour (cookies, cakes) or processed sugar (candy)
eat lots of veggies and less meat.
dont forget to jump around daily

p.s. even though im a doctor and am not suppose to be saying this, do not take any drugs in the future such as weight loss pills or anything like that. if you can do it naturally dont take pills.

Are you sure about how long/far you're walking? 40 minutes for 1.75 miles is a bit slow.
Review your food choices. Even intense exercise can't remove overeating or high calories. It will be a bit harder for you because you're 5'3".

Stop counting you re not going to be lose weight overnight Just concentrate on diet and exercise

alcohol has calories too you know sub three drinks a week for lighter versions to drop a pound a year

turn dinner into a healthy lunch the next day by wrapping your lean leftovers in a whole wheat wrap add a little dijon mustard or curry powder for added flavor
