What should be done about spam?

I support the death penalty for spammers.

Spam is a anoying thing, much as the bots in chat rooms, however there is hope on the horizion! New laws coming into effect and some fedral that have already been in place are starting, slowly but shurley to be inforced. Companies such as yahoo, msn and other companies are starting to comply that when ever you tell them an address is spam (this is by clicking the spam button) they can track the I.P. and there for making it possible to bring fedral charges against who ever sent it out. And most people hired by companies arnt going to go down alone! They will rat out the companies and advertising companies that hired them, like a rat deserting a sinking ship! Best of luck and stay out there.. best bet is to use Outlook and use a spam blocker such as one that can be found at http://www.ca.com/

Make it illegal to connect a Windows based computer to the internet. When spammers can't find computers on the internet that can easily be turned into spamming zombies, spam will cease, but not until then.

As most spam comes from other countries other than the one they are intended for only an international law will stop spammers
