  • chamberlain garage door problem?

I have a chamberlain bran new.. installed and when i first tried to run it.. would not stop and hit the bolt.. had to disconnect the chain.. and reconnect after adjusting.. it would not go in the opposite direction.. would just sit there nad hit the bolt.. so I went ahead and put it at the opposite end to try and adjust the limitor..

Well instead it went in the opposite direction and got stuck against a bolt.. so after alot of back and forth.. i finally put it in the middle and turned the limitors down while it was on.. so i ran it.. was going in the up position fine.. and then got close to cut point and stopped.. from this point on.. it will only try and go in that same direction.. cm at a time.. will not go in the opposite direction.. but at least its not hitting the bolt right?

ANyone have any insight on this? My main problem now i guess is once it gets to a certain spot it wont go the opposite direction.. nothing is in a bind.. nothing is loose or too tight.. sensors working fine.. everything... but that

  • Ported Sub Box, Vent direction?

Im about to build a custom box for my JBL Monster, the P1224, right now i have a sealed box thats to slow. anyhow, im wondering what difference if any will it make if i point the sub in one direction and the port another. Here is what im planning..

Ported box to specs, but the face (woofer side) pointg towards back of trunk. The box face will have a main plate covered with carpet to make one big pannel that will make the trunk look smaller, so basically with that in mind, the front of the truck (behind teh box) will be compleatly seperate from the front.. so like 2 trunks lol.. anyhow, the port will be pointing into this chamber.. what kind of difference if any will this make, being that most of the port, and its flow of air will be coming through the back dash..

What difference at all would this make, or is it best ot have the port empty into the truck withthe sub as well?

IM tring ot boost my bass, as well as the overall sound of the upper band low freq.
