What color nylons with black dress? Fair skinned!?

It depends if it is long sleeved, or sleeveless or strapless. Most dresses that show more of your skin demand a nude color stocking to balance it out. A fishnet, or patterned stocking is also beautiful with a very plain black dress. BUT if the black dress has detail wear a simple light sheer black stocking.

Ok, I think the main rule is that during daytime, one can wear lighter colored nylons, even with a black dress, but for dressier & nighttime wear, it is more accepted to wear the darker or black nylons and if you can match the black colors... even better! The same goes with the shoes...

Find the sheerest black stockings that you can find. Nothing is more classic. Stockings are generally more sheer than pantyhose, and a lot sexier too.
