Getting a tattoo is a personal preference..No one can tell you to get one or not to get one. Its all up to the individual. Personally I love my tattoos. My tattoos symbolize something special in my life. I also have them in a discreet place so no one sees them unless I show them. Some people do not view them as a beauty of form of self expression as I do. Some places of employment do not look kindly on people who are tattooed or pierced. Just keep that in mind when deciding whether or not to get one or where to put it.

tattoo are not harmful only for SOMETIME!
Tattooing is a trend that has been "in style" for years. But like everything, it has it's dangers. Some of the risk involved with tattooing are HIV, Tuberculosis, and Hepatitus B. These diseases are highly contagious through contact with blood. It is important that people choose tattoo artist who properly sterlize their equipment. The American Academy of Dermatology says that non-sterile tattooing practices have also led to the transmission of Syphilis.

well i do tattoo. and i have done them on people that after they got the tatt they wished they got something else. go to a tattoo place look and their work they should have some pics. if that don't then don't go to them. also pick something that you know you will love forever. don't get something like your girlfriends name or you school mascot. get something that really means something to you deep down in your heart. tattoos are forever. you never would want to have to go do a cover up or laser, laser hurts way more than getting a tat. just think before you leap.

My opinion is to get something that has a true meaning to you. I have the organ donor ribbon on my ankle, this is in memory of my father who was a liver recipient and passed away a few years ago. Make sure your tattoo is something special it will be with you forever...

Start by getting something basic like your name or a nickname. DO NOT put any girlfriends or other people's names on you. 90% people regret it when they do that. I have 4 tattoos. They are my kids' names and my own name. I'll never regret getting those tattooed on me. Think wisely when you decide.......Good Luck!!

I have many ideas for tattoos. But it depends on what you are into.
I want to get a phoenix (bird) or a dragon. But I also already have a celtic knot.
It depends on what you are into. Its an important decision, get something that means something to you.

Think about it long and hard and make sure that is what you want to do,... I got one when I was 20 and I knew for sure I wanted it. I am still happy with it now, and I am 26. Its a sun, something I always wanted and I want another one now.

if you don't know if you want to get a tattoo, then you shouldn't. you shouldn't get one until you are 100 percent sure that you want one and that you know what you want. it's a big decision to make.
