iPod question??
I just got an iPod today (yaaaay!!) and I was wondering if you could rip CDs on your computer and put the music into your iPod from your Windows Media Player. It worked for my old mp3 player but I heard iPods can only use iTunes. I have a lot of CDs and I want their music on my iPod. =D So would it work??

It does work. If you already ripped your CD's through Windows Media Player, you may already be able to use them on your iPod. Try importing the songs (Import is under the file menu). If it doesn't work, then you ripped your songs in wma format and will have you re-rip them. Bonus tip: under options, change your importing to be in MP3 format. Then you will never have to re-rip your CD's again.

copy the songs on your computer and then use the iTunes cd which must have come with your iPod. Install the software and update your music library by copying those songs

You can import your music from the iTunes library. They should've given you software with it, this allows you to play your music from all cds that you rip. Windows media may allow you to play videos and etc.
