It is totally against the natural behavior of humans.

    Homosexuality is

    1. perversity of nature,

    2. lack of guidance,

    3. depravity of morals,

    4. aberration of taste

It is forbidden in any religion. And it is the most horrible distortion of human nature. This is NOT the way God wants us to live.

They are afraid of what they can not understand. They do not want to understand. They like to stand back and 'cast the first stone' - thereby going against the very messages they preach.

They will tell you that the ' Bible says' this and the Bible says that, but I can't seem to remember Jesus condemning homosexuality. Ephesians says that a man will leave his mother and be joined to his wife and the two shall become one flesh. They may use this. I, however, feel that these words were written by a HUMAN author. Not God. I feel that they were written for a culture and a people far different from our own today.

It is usually fear that drives people to hate. It is disgusting to listen to Jr. High and High School children make fun of homosexuals. They are no different from anyone else - flesh and blood. It takes a big person to stand against a large crowd full of violent people who want nothing more than to let their fear drive them.

the main reason was in the days the bible was written because the family was an integral part of the care of the aged, creating enough hands to plant and harvest, and care for crops, make clothing, cook [they couldn't turn on a stove]. sons were expected to become the caretakers of his parents, as well as creating children to look after him and protect him when he got old..

homosexuality interfered with the 'then' way things were done. it had nothing much to do with anything else, except maybe homophobia. even the roman army enlisted homosexual couples where they could. they surmised that men who fought beside a lover would fight all the harder to protect his lover.

hormones were as big a factor in life then as now, and people were going to have sex [although maybe quietly behind closed doors]. and if one kind did not present itself, then given time, the other surely would. this exists in most other species of animal as well. after trying it once, twice, a year, more, it would become a preference. sea captains still practiced it a fair amount in the days of sail when ships might be away from home for heaven only knew how long. just one example. I won't say it was rampant, but it was there, cabinboys had a name that story and rumour have carried down to this day

The Word of God says that it is a sin. It goes against the natural order of the way God had intended this world to be. God's Will was for us to be fruitful and multiply. Two people of the same sex can not produce fruit. By no means is homosexuality the only sin. But that is the only one you asked about that is why I am only focusing on that right now. May God Bless

Homosexuality is part of human nature and is 100% natural. It should be accepted by all religions because you can't tell someone to "not be gay". It would be like telling someone to not be black or white.

Religious people are against homosexuality because they don't understand it.

you realize what's senseless to me? Why the "loving" christion god would create homosexuals, and then condemn them. If their god already does not settle for them, is it particularly a great deal he won't approve of their marriage? Christianity feels like an incredible, loving, accepting faith. sign me up for a number of that. Oh, that fluctuate into sarcasm, in case you're able to no longer tell.

This, God hates. It's because of man's sin were so great that man turned to man & woman to to woman, instead of staying man & woman. Read the Word of God & you will understand. This, is the work of Satan, it all startewd out after God had made Adem & Eve, that the serpent had led Eve into being decieved then it went to Adam, which eventually lead to the virst human death Cain murdering his brother & lying about it. It goes on & on. Read Genesis for more.

Don't know of any religions that go against homosexuality? Although I know a lot of Catholic priests who would like to!

It is unnatural. Our bodies are not suppose to work that way! It does harm to society. Much higher risk of getting STDs (and no this has nothing to do with not using protection). If everyone becomes homosexual then we would be extinct! Does that not tell you something?

NOT Paganism, as a rule, although I've know a couple of homophobic Pagans. The cool thing about them is that they realize it's wrong, are ashamed of it, and try to overcome it.
