Okie boys? Fun! I used to live there. This summer, you could:
- be an intern in Washington, D.C. at the White House, State Department, or an embassy
- work at a summer camp that provides room at board (Junior Statesmen (locations across the USA), Medeba summer camp in Ontario Canada, etc.
- be a social hostess on a cruise ship-- cruiseshipjob.com is a pretty good resource. I'd suggest Royal Caribbean's Bahamas cruises.
- be an umbrella boy in Florida. Seriously, it doesn't pay too bad and it's a casual, fun job where you meet/stare at plenty of cute girls. I would suggest Destin or Panama City. You could apply directly with condo facilities there. It might be relatively hard to find an opening, but if you do, you'll be set if you like the beach.

I worked at a summer camp once. It was a lot of fun, but I was both a "teacher" and an R.A./dorm person. That royally sucked. The plus was it was free room and board, and a good time. If you choose a summer camp, be sure you are only an RA (and don't have to teach, too!) so you can have some of the day off. Find our your schedule beforehand so you can make sure you have plenty of time for fun during the day. Camps can be exhausting..
Interning is sometimes/often 40 hours a week, so it would mean that your "fun" would be going out at night or over the weekends. Some internships don't pay, and ones that do don't pay all that well. But, career-wise it's pretty good experience and provides you an excuse to live in NYC, DC, Orlando, etc.
Cruise ships can be tiring jobs, too, and schedules are sometimes thrown around on you. Guests will sometimes walk all over you. If you're a waiter, you could land some pretty decent tips. My friend was a "head waiter" so he got more tips than the other waiters, and managed to save some good cash. Those jobs tend to want prior experience. So, you might try to retail shop work, hostessing, event planning assistant jobs, etc. within the cruise ship. Also be sure to find out the locations you'll be working-- some Royal Caribbean, etc. jobs are actually land-based desk jobs. Cruise jobs are fun jobs if you can land them!

properly no longer breaking the value variety could mean a million a number of issues. One man or woman's budget could be seven hundred a month on employ and yet another would have the cheap of 3500 a month. the cheap does no longer immediately denote low on money. So what precisely is a "budget" for you? in case you do not have a job set up already and could no longer a minimum of shell out 1100 a month (for a studio the place you are able to probable no longer get shot) then do no longer worry. you will no longer have the potential to discover a job so fairly and at 2 an prolonged time old I doubt you have any (or plenty in any respect) bigger training. stay the place you're, come across a job and get some extra training. Then probable inspect moving. in case you do no longer do this you will remorseful approximately it once you're settee surfing begging acquaintances for money. in case you nonetheless insist on nonetheless moving how approximately try filling out job purposes in L.A. once you're nonetheless the place you're actually, see in case you even get any nibbles, consistent with hazard that provides you a concept of actuality.

You should apply for jobs at Disneyworld. They have all sorts of jobs and have living quaters for the workers. There are programs for college students so there will be plenty of people your age looking to have fun like you. Plus there are probably more girls working there than guys.

You could look for an internship in a big city. It'll be a new place to explore, you can gain experience, and it'll look good on your resume.
