If you could have one do over?
If you could have one do over. Just one, no matter what is was. what would you do over. It could be the turning point of your life and you want another chance. Just one more do over. You know which one it is always on the back of your mind. What if you were given the chance would you do it differently.

Well I can't really think of any "do-overs". I can, however think of a few "do agains". Not so I could do them differently, just so I could do them again.

I don't think I'd go back and do anything in my life differently. Not anything significant anyway. I like who I am and I like where I am. Every thing I did and experienced has led me here. I am where I am meant to be and I'll go where I'm meant to go. It's an interesting trip.

I would have not had kids at a young age (17), because if I had waited, I would have been able to get my education and provide a better life than what they had. The 3 of them are grown and on their own now, and they know I did the best I could have, but I will always wish I could have done that one over.

I would've gone to the private school my parents were trying to force me into...it was an all guys military school so I really didn't want to go. But they have a 100% acceptence rate for 4-year colleges and it probably close to the best education money can buy in IL. I ended up not caring halfway through high school because my teachers sucked and I knew it because I knew more about a few of the subjects than they did. My younger brother ended up going to the private school and we got the same SAT/ACT ( I can't remember which test it was now) at like 29 and I got hardly any recruitment letters and he's getting scholarship letters to BIG name schools...woulda shoulda coulda.

I played a joke on a friend of mine in high school. It was a long running joke. The result was that our friendship was ruined. Therefore, the next year and a half for me were not as good as they could have been. He was a good friend and the joke should have never dragged out as long as it did. Looking back, the whole thing was high school prank stuff, but I went overboard and I never let myself down for it. So...we live and we learn, but sometimes it comes with a cost.

Not had unprotected sex and get pregnant at the age of 20. Then maybe I would have finished my physical therapy training and married the doctor I met and fell in love with latter. (my child has cerebral palsy, I did marry the father and we live in a beautiful home and have no money problems, it could have turned out worse).

Honestly, I think I wouldn't get married at 17 again. I was married for 30 years and it has been 5 since our divorce. We grew apart.
I wish I could change that.

Nothing. I've learned from all of my mistakes. If I were to re do them, how would i learn from them and keep the lessons with me? I wouldn't. Life isn't meant to redo, and rewind. That's the beauty of it, you've got on chance and that's it.

I would have not left my previous job and help a friend in his new setup firm. I see what so call true colour and I had lost not only my career, a friend, but also myself as well.....
