Does Ben Roethlisberger deserve a good career?

What kind of guy has so little respect for the life that he has been given that he goes around endangering himself by riding a motorcycle? You're paid millions of dollars to play A GAME! You win the Superbowl! You have everything that you or any body could every have! What the hell is your problem? I hope to God that this is just the beginning of a has-been. Get out of the league Ben!

I know this is old news but it's funny how crappy the Steelers are now. What do you think about this dude?

Update:

Once again.. he was NOT wearing a helmet. Give me a break if you think it's justifiable. People would give anything to have what he has and the pathetic guy doesn't respect it.

I think he made a mistake and realizes that, but it's not like he's the only person who's done something stupid, how many people get in a car every day and don't put their seat belts on? The fact that the steelers aren't doing well this year is not ben's fault, the entire team has been playing poorly and if you actually watch a game you'd be able to see that. As for me I support my QB, he as well as the rest of the team won the super bowl last year, and i don't give a **** if they don't go to the playoffs this year, they'll be back next year

Ben is a big boy and is able to make his own choices. Riding a motorcycle is a high risk activity whether the rider is wearing a helmet or not. It's not up to us to judge the guy because he likes motorcycles. There is no crime in that.

I think the Steelers problems lie a little deeper than the QB.

Who the hell are you to judge? Last time I check it was the riders choice in PA, as to whether or not they want to ride and / or wear a helmet. Also Ben isn't going anywhere and Pittsburgh has problems way bigger than Ben. Do you know nothing about football? Let me fill you in on an interesting fact...there are ten other people on the feild with him. It takes all eleven.

I think YOU are a either a whiny Seahawks fan or a Browns fan. Just a wild guess. I notice you won't admit to your team in the saying this either. Well I'd guess according to you NO-ONE should ride a motorcycle. Oh sure we don't all make millions BUT we are all important spokes in the wheel if you have a brain enough to realize your importance. OH and according to you he SHOULDN'T have everything he could. He shouldn't be allowed to have any passsion outside teh game. He doesn't deserve a good carrer any more tehn he deserves a bad one. He doesn't DESERVE anything. He may EARN a good Carrer though.

What the hell is your problem? Ben Roethlisberger's living his life the way He wants to. Who are you to judge him? If he wants ride his motorcycle with no helmet, smoke weed, have threesomes with midget strippers, or chug a gallon of motor oil that's his decision. It doesn't affect you in any way. If he ever shows up on your doorstep, broken down and asking for money, you can lecture him and tell him how he wasted his talent. But don't bash the man for not living up to the standards that you have set for him. He's worked hard, let him enjoy himself.

Well as I last recall there are no helmet laws in the state of PA...So really he didnt have to wear a helmet....Yeah my boys are goin through a really rough time this year. Ben is going through so much much and theres always next year...That way he should be all ready to go. And you can't just pull all this whole ''crappy'' season on one guy...

I think if riding a motorcycle is not in his contract then go for it Ben. Although pro athletes are overpaid I think they still "don't owe nobody or a sport" anything. The motorcycle injury to baseballs Jeff Kent was different it was in his contract no cycling.

Amazing what an idiot you are.

So lets take you. Assuming you have a dazzling career (which you probably dont because you sound just plain jealous with a question like this) and make plenty of money, and youre in a car ACCIDENT (as in mistake, shiit happens, etc.) and you cant work as long or as hard as you once did, then you dont deserve a good career, right?

Thats your logic, dude, not mine.

I think your question and attitude sucks, and say shiit yeah he deserves a good career. Who doesnt?

  • 1 decade ago

he should have the right to ride a motorcycle...he works to live...he doesn't live to work. That's a ridiculous argument. that should have nothing to do with his commitment to the game (that's right...it's just a GAME). His life is way more important than his career on the football game.
