  • Why are Christians so hateful?

Your religion claims to teach respect and peace. Yet any time some one has a different view than you, you resort to ad-hominem arguments and suggesting vengeance in the form of damnation. Some one disagrees with Christianity and instead of enlightening them you crucify them. What happened to practicing the teaches you follow? Surely "God" wouldn't want you to act in this way.

Then there's the fact that science has offered more answers about our world than the book ever has. Instead of finding answers to problems you retort the same cliche "God musta dun it".

So my question to you is, why are Christians practicing hate when they preach peace? What led to this hypocrisy?

Please answer with thoughtful, intelligent answers that will enlighten me, rather than proving my point. I would like to practice Christianity but I find it increasingly naive to do so.

  • Do you think the United States knows where Osama bin Laden is?

50 of the 52 key al-Qaeda terrorist leaders handed to United Nations soldiers in the form of a deck of cards have been killed or aprehended.

As advanced as our military is and the fact that the majority of these key terrorists have been killed has recently led to an interesting theory. Is it probably that the United States knows the location of bin Laden and will "miraculously" locate him right as the Bush cabinet is about to leave office, in time for 2008 elections? After all, we did find Saddam in a hole in a wall in a small Iraqi village in 2003. Subsequently, that was just enough time for Republicans to campaign his capture for the 2004 elections.

  • Should Nate Kaeding be let go?

The wind was blowing at 8 mph to his back. The fieldgoal attempt was 54 yards. There was no wind pushing the ball from side-to-side. The path was pretty straight to the posts. Doesn't seem like too hard of a kick for a Pro Bowler.

Two years ago he missed a 39 yard fieldgoal to lose to the Jets in overtime in the playoffs.

Is he ever going to be a clutch kicker or some one who is good during the season and chokes in the playoffs? Should the Chargers trade him?

It was a really good game though. There's always next year.

  • Should the United States outlaw religion?

Religion has caused more death and hurt in human history than any other aspect of human sociology.

Jews and Muslims kill eachother on a daily basis in Israel. Muslims kill Muslims in the Middle East. Christians killed Muslims during the Crusades. Muslims kill Christians in acts of terrorism. Extreme Christians kill innocent people in abortion clinics. Pro-Christian Adolf Hitler supports the genocide of hundreds of thousands of Jews. Saddam orders the killing of thousands of Kurds. Christian Protestants kill Catholics in Ireland and early United States colonization. Catholic priests molest thousands of innocent children, the Vatican tries to keep it quiet. Muslims supress their women. Bush, the Bible hugging moron, comments that Atheists should not be considered Americans. Bush orders the pre-emptive invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan.

  • How do you rate the consoles?

The price doesn't bother me so much as the availability of the console. Trying to find one is, from what I hear, annoying. The system also lacks a solid title, something unheard of when launching a console. The overhyped blu-ray hasn't sold all that many movies. I give Sony a C.

Nintendo had a good launch with their usual amount of franchise titles. All of the games have gotten pretty good ratings in reviews. Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess was voted game of the year by many review companies. Coupled with innovation Nintendo has done phenomenal. B + for Nintendo.

Microsoft, surprisingly, has had the best launch and followup of any of the consoles. Availability was never much of an issue. The system is affordable relative to it's performance. Xbox Live Marketplace is arguably the best online service ever released in any form of entertainment. Add a solid flow of above-average titles and you have a really good console. A for Microsoft.

  • Attempted equality leads to inequality...?

For example, instead of punishing schools for not admitting minorities the government comes up with affirmative action which leads schools to pick minority candidates, regardless of if they deserve to attend or not. Certain students may be admitted based on their ethnicity or sex rather than their academic achievement.

Special government agencies, VAWA comes to mind, dedicated to the prevention of violence against women and women alone. Instead of an agency that strides to prevent violence against all people.

My question to you is... will we ever enter a state of mind where we move to give ALL people an education and stride to prevent violence against ALL people rather than a specific group? Or will we continue to run the illogical course where inequality is shifted from the majority to the minority?

For God's sake... somebody show the US government how Europe runs things.

  • Why is the NBA so aweful?

What's all this talk about "running up the score"? Give me a break. You're complaining like sissies because your team is too bad at the game to keep the score even. What would entice a team to keep the scores close? This is the only sport where people try to rig games to make the scores close. Nobody whines about blowouts in MLB, NFL or NHL. No wonder why basketball is a dieing breed. What are your thoughts, not that I care?

  • Found bugs in drink, can I sue?

A few days ago I ate breakfast at McDonalds. I drove through the drive-thru. When I got home I discovered, in great disgust, that there were a dozen or so ants in my drink. Some of them were crushed under the lid, some of them were dead. Thank God I didn't drink of it. Do I have grounds to file a suite?

  • Does Ben Roethlisberger deserve a good career?

What kind of guy has so little respect for the life that he has been given that he goes around endangering himself by riding a motorcycle? You're paid millions of dollars to play A GAME! You win the Superbowl! You have everything that you or any body could every have! What the hell is your problem? I hope to God that this is just the beginning of a has-been. Get out of the league Ben!

I know this is old news but it's funny how crappy the Steelers are now. What do you think about this dude?

  • 2002 Hyundai Accent won't reverse?

I drive a 2002 Accent with 1.6L engine/auto transmission. The car starts fine and runs okay. The car stopped going in reverse about two weeks ago. While driving forward it's good for the most part but over-revs and kicks when changing from 2nd to 3rd gear. Any ideas what the problem might be?
