Anyone else familiar with vulvar vestibulitis?

Almost a year ago I was diagnosed with vulvar vestibulities. Basically, the inside of my vagina is super sensitive and sex is VERY painful. Luckily I have found a successful treatment, but I'm curious to see if anyone else has been diagnosed.

Update:

Yes, I have also been diagnosed with vulvodynia/vestibulitis except my symptoms may be different from yours. My symptoms started in May and were diagnosed and treated as a yeast infection. The symptoms went away on their own without the help of the medication, if anything the medication sometimes exasperated the symptoms. I thought it was gone until it came back again in September and I am still suffering from the intermittent feelings of uncomfort everyday. The symptoms range from stinging, burning, swelling, and soreness and sometimes itching. My doctor said it was vulvodynia but explained that there is no treatment for it. I am going in for another appointment to see if we can run another set of test to find an underlying cause. Problem is, we already ran every std test and an biopsy for hpv and everything came back negative. I'm not very hopeful and dealing with this has become very depressing. Sorry to ramble on it's just really frustrating because I don't know what to do. Can you please share your story on your successful treatment. Thank you for listening
