No particular person comes to mind at all. I've seen a wide variety of people and met quite a few that have delivered freight to businesses I've been in. I haven't met a bad one yet.

Yes, it's an honorable profession. Truck drivers are responsible for moving the vast amount of products you & I use every day. A lot of thing would grind to a hault if these men and women were not out there doing their jobs in professional and timely fashion.

What type of job is not what makes it honorable... The person doing the job proudly is what makes a job honorable.

Truck driving is a good profession, I have allot of family that drives trucks (men and women).

If this is the profession that you want, then it shouldn't matter what other people think.

I used to think not. Untill I worked at a truck stop for many years and learned they are decent kind people. You hear alot of stories, but really they are just like anyone else. They are just doing their job. If it were not for them, we could buy nothing from a store. As literally everything you buy comes off a truck at one time or another. And they have to drive in very bad weather sometimes to do this. You should appreciate them more. That's my opiniion.

They drive a huge truck and have to be some where in a certain amount of time maybe not a proffesion but we need truck drivers

Honestly, I think of a white, overweight man with a baseball cap on. Stereotypical I know. But it is an honorable profession, definitely. Do you think you could drive one of those big trucks? I know for a fact I couldn't. And they make killer money!
