Yes, there are lots of truckers that have a spouse and even a family.

my mom has married a trucker and he is away 4 - 5 days out of the week.... but they have their own trucking company so i guess it is a bit easier on them.

Plus it depends on how long u are away, where it is that u travel to and how much money you get., cause it may not be worth the time or money if it takes away from your family.
