Has anyone tried hula hooping as a way to lose weight?

I just bought a weighted hula hoop and have been using it for 10 minutes each day hoping to slim down my waist line.

    YES! It's GREAT exercise, but you need to do it for about 20 minutes. It will slim your waist.

    Definitely a different way to exercise. It can definitely get your heart rate going. The thing you need to make sure of is that you are going long enough to get your heart rate to the appropriate level in order for you to burn calories. That is what will help you lose the weight.
