well the answer is simple.....the teacher is dyslexic and as julie has the acorns she is distracting the teacher from her concentration on the spelling of mississippi on the blackboard because she has to tell julie to put them away because they are dirty.....and thats the logical answer

Because the teacher's thick as pig ****. Probably comes from a council estate, yet with the drastic need for teachers, the school board have decided to accept anyone?
