in the summer season time, Chicago can arise exceeded a hundred F (or 37.7 C) yet could nicely be as low as 70 F (21.one million C) in the winter time, we are able to the two get a lot of snow, or get purely some inches for the completed season. Chicago's climate is so different and unpredictable! i like having all the seasons to be trustworthy. As for the different questions, i can not assist you out too lots. The north edge of the city is definitely the main secure.

Sorry, not "feeling" you. This is nothing. If you can't handle this, consider moving to California or Florida or something. It will get a lot worse than this before it's over. I mean, come on: It's Chicago. It's December. Do the math. And use this as a learning lesson: watch the weather report the night before and play your morning accordingly. Get up earlier and leave the house earlier.

Geez....woke up to a mess. Couldn't get out of my house, got stuck in the driveway at work...and it's not letting up one bit here in the Barrington area. Algonquin Rd is closed. Can't wait to go home. I work for an insurance company, and they even closed the home office, so hopefully we are leaving early and I can go cuddle up at home with a fire and a bottle of vino!

what are you going to do if you are in Alaska, I recently moved from Alaska to Chicago and this is nothing comparing to Alaska's snow and the wheather, the only different is the wind in chicago but that is all. so leave early to work, and drive safe...
