    ok...a 2GB costs $149, a 4GB costs $199, and an 8GB costs $249. If you're wondering which one to get it's completely up to you because it depends on how much memory you want. The more memory, the more GB's and the more $ it costs!

    to charge it you use the special cable it comes with and plug it in. even though it says the charge lasts 24 hours, that is only true for about the first year. then the charge lasts shorter and shorter. also remember that they can't hold videos, movies, or tv shows. i know a few people that have one and they have problems with them freezing up so good luck with that if it happens to you.(they just called the company to figure it out)you honestly don't get very much for your money.

    Source(s): me...i also really wanted to get one so i researched for about a month. i found that mp3 players are better (check out the Creative Zen V Plus) so that's what im getting.mp3 players record your voice, have videos, fm radio, and more, unlike ipods.

    As far as ipods go, you can find info on this site http://www.apple.com/itunes/

    as far as size goes, that depends on how much music you have currently, and how much you are planning on getting. an 8 GB can hold as much as 2000 songs. Price wise, the 2GB is 149$ (approx) and the 8GB is about 249$. With the battery, it depends on maintenance. If you follow the directions, as far as charging it, you should give it years of life, let it run fully down occasionally and then fully charge the battery. They also sell really cheap kits to change the battery yourself if your ipod goes off warranty and then your battery dies.

    The 2 GB iPod Nano is $149 and holds up to 500 songs.

    The 4 GB iPod Nano is $199 and holds up to 1,000 songs.

    The 8 GB iPod Nano is $249 and holds up to 2,000 songs.

    I highly recommend the 4 GB iPod Nano because I don't think 2GB (holds up to 500 songs) iPod Nano is enough. The 8 GB (holds up to 2,000 songs) is a waste because for that same price, you can get the 30 GB iPod Video which can hold up to 7,500 songs and 40 hours of video.

    Fast-charge time: about 1.5 hours (charges up to 80% of battery capacity)

    Full-charge time: about 3 hours

    With one full charge, the iPod Nano can play songs for 24 hours without needing to be charged.

    Other things you should know about the iPod Nano:

    the costs vary but the size. go to the link i gave and check it out. if you are gonna buy the 8Gb it is better to buy the 30GB video.

    and the batteries are rechargable. they should last a week for a nano be4 u have to recharge them.

    2GB=$149.99 (ONLY SILVER)

    4GB=$199.99 (SILVER, GREEN, BLUE, PINK)

    8GB=$249.99 (BLACK ONLY)

    I would say to go with the black one ($249.99 8GB) because black iz SWEEET
