Why would she call after 15 years?

My very first girlfriend I ever had called me over the summer and left a message on my answering machine cause I was out of town at the time. We dated over 27 yrs ago, and it seems like every 5 to 10 yrs she calls me. The last time I saw her she started seeing my best friend at the time and ended up marrying him. I didn't want to see her then and we left other than friendly. that was 15 yrs ago. On her message she didn't even say her name she just said it was Bobbies wife, but I knew her voice.

Why after all of these yrs does she have to call??

She is fond of you and doesnt want to never ever see you nor hear about you again. Sure life threw you curve balls and you end up not marrying each other. Love is still there, although in a different form.

Dont we all have stories like that?

    No?

Talk to her, tell her you are ok. Maybe your children will marry each other , who knows.

well i don't have enough information to answer you intelligently. but think of it this way. you are at least still on her mind. if she had no interest in you, after 15 years she probably would forget you exist.

Because she knows the effect it has on you. Don't let her see that it gets to you. Been there.

She is just checking in to say hello. Why does it bother you so much?
