I know there are differences in carpets, - but I don't thik there is some "special made" carpet that aiplanes have to use! I worked in airplane factory (making civilian aircraft), --we used regular carpet (only thing is that carpeting - and everything else has to be "burn tested" for use in airplanes)! Any carpet that survives the "burn test standards" can be used! However I know that the carpeting in airliners is best installed while aircraft is flying at high altitude, -- otherwise it wrinkles and "creeps" a lot after a while,-- (sometihng to do with density of air and expansion/contraction of aircraft)!
