Whirlpool makes Kenmore, Maytag used to be, but they sold out last year. KitchenAid is excellent but you will pay premium. If price is not the object, KitchenAid, if so, Kenmore is reliable.

I would say maytag, but its not worth the price premium over a kenmore. The sears stuff is pretty decent, and will last a long time

KENMORE that brand is really good and holds up for a really long time(13 years so far.)
