Where can I buy .22 LR ammo at cheap prices?

Walmart sells 100RD CCI Minimag High Velocity .22 Long Rifle copper-plated round nose 40 Grain at $4.97 + tax. with is about $5.38. There must be an online store which sells it cheaper by the bulk like 1000rds or more.

Go to any local gun store and get a brick (500 rounds) of PMC sidewinder or CCI blazer, a brick of either costs around 11 bucks plus tax. If that's not good enough for ya, go to www.centerfiresystems.com and check out their line of Aguila 22 ammo, they sell it by the box, brick and case(5000 rounds) I really like the Aguila sub sonic ammo, very accurate and reliable.

Source(s): Note to Allen below, if your auto loader stops cycling after 30 or 50 rounds, something is wrong with your firearm, I shoot on average 500 rounds of 22 every week, using semi auto and lever, and bolt guns, when shooting semi I've NEVER had it stop cycling due to the ammo you listed above.Any of the modern standard velocity 22 ammo will cycle a functional semi-auto firearm, unless you have a faulty firearm, or one thats very very dirty and in desperate need of cleaning and oiling.

finally a good question. i can't give you any really cheap place you need to shop around. Walmart is good as is any sporting goods stores for websites search for Cabelas and midway usa, those are both pretty good sites. But .22 ammo is cheap really no matter where you go. also you only need minimags to kill squirrels and stuff or if you're using a semi auto weapon. if you're just going to practice shoot and you have a bolt, lever, pump, or any manual action rifle just buy a brick of winchester wildcats or some federals. btw you can shoot these rounds out of an autoloader too, but your gun with stop cycling well after 30-50 rounds.

I'm using a pretty old autoloader it was made by winchester in the 50's i think. so maybe it's just my gun, i clean it fairly often, minimags are the only shot that will cycle no matter what out of it. thanks for you comment though

Iraq US Military Surplace the website is down, but it usually is blocked by US Censors, for our protection.

The Block Brick method of buying large volumes of ammo is allways best. The US Olympic Site can actually help you out there.
