just forget about the person that died

  • Any way that you can. As long as you or anyone else won't get hurt by how you cope, you can do just about anything you want. If you feel like exercise will help then go for a run, if you feel like just curling up and doing nothing will help then do that. Just make sure it doesn't get to the point where coping is all you can do. Talk to someone, even if you don't think it can help it probably will. Maybe not now, but in the long run. You don't need to get over this person, or forget them at all, just remember not to hurt yourself or take your feelings (whatever they may be) out on someone else physically. If you feel like you need someone to talk to right away call hopeline http://www.hopeline.com/ they can hook you up with someone who is trained in counseling and can talk you through everything. Good luck.

Don't mope around wishing the person was still alive. Keep a picture or two as a reminder, but smile when you see it. They've gone to a better place and they would've wanted you to be happy. Do things you enjoy to get you back on track. Take awhile just to enjoy yourself, but also don't spend all your time thinking about that person. It will just make you sad! I'm sorry about your death. My sympathy is with you.

One day at a time, I am afraid. And while losing someone may never make sense, as time goes on, it becomes more bearable, although there are always moments when the loss will cut like a knife and there is no answer and no consolation to be found. Those are the times when I hope and pray we will meet again someday. If you have suffered a loss, know you are not alone.

no matter what i say, the pain is yours and you have to deal with it. It's easy for me to give you answers, but ultimately, you need to strong and face it, accept it. Difficult, i know, no one else knows what a person goes through at the time.. Can i ask you to read more about meditation and try it? Meditation allows you to control your mind, you become a mere observer of everything that happens , you are calmer, stronger and better prepared to face and handle whatever life brings..Death means passing into another phase....when you meditate you learn a lot more about life and death., their meaning...

Death is a doorway to a different level of living.

We all come from a source of love and long to return to it and become more like it.

Attachment to those departed causes pain but we must let them return to love even as we must one day return to love for that is true love, selfless love, eternal love. Attachment to departed ones is not love which is why it causes pain and the fear of death.

its a very difficult situation, but try diverting your thoughts by taking up your hobby, and think that the person is in a better place than this world
