solamente...most Latinos I know have learned or are currently learning English. Most ESL classes are during the day, and many people work. I taught adult ESL classes for a few years and I saw men and women working hard to learn. Learning a language isn't as easy as most Americans think. Why do you think such a huge number of Americans take a foreign language in high school and drop it after a year or two? It takes the human brain 5-7 years to acquire a foreign language. After the age of 13, or during puberty the brain changes and it physiologically becomes more difficult if not impossible to acquire a new language. Most people after the age of 13 do not need to learn a new language so the brain is actually less receptive to acquiring a second language after puberty.

Because they're lazy and would rather drink their Cerveza and tequila while beating on their wife. Its their way of showing her they love her. They're also part of the growing Mexican movement to take over this country and make it Mexico North, so why should they learn English? And remember, as long as you go into the stores and find stuff in Spanish and get instructions on the phone for English press 1, Spanish press 2 and so on, why should they? We're all going to be speaking that garbage someday if they have their way. Support deportation.
