...things, that look like mosquitos from the jurassic era (inch long body, long probiscus, 6 long legs), that bounce around the room walls and ceiling, called?

One moved into my place last week and I am thinking about charging rent.

    LOL, those are called Crane flies. DON'T KILL THEM! They eat nothing but mosquitos and are extremely beneficial in controlling the mosquito population.

    He's doing you a favor. Maybe you should be paying him, lol.

    give the " pet " a name and keep him around as he will be beneficial if you are willing to let him live. cheaper than a mosquito replier

    we always called them mosquito catchers. they are harmless to humans but i guess they attack mosquitos.
