Can anyone suggest a book for me to read?

My favourite authors are Ernest Hemingway, Douglas Adams, Margaret Atwood, F Scott Fitzgerald, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Laura Esquivel, Herman Hesse, and Jaqueline Suzanne.

This is a very eclectic mix, but they are my favourites. Any suggestions for a good read?

If you like Douglas Adams, you'll like Running With Scissors by Augusten Burroughs. He's a bit more graphic and his books have more...mature themes, I suppose. But the type of satirical humor is the same.

If you like Gabriel Garcia Marquez, you might try Isabel Allende, who does similar work in magic realism and storytelling of that nature.
