Why most girls when describing ideal man say he needs to be tall?

bc girls think tht is sexy and they think when a man is tal they feel saffer with them

I would say because a woman fells more secure if her man is bigger than her. I know alot of women will argue against this but if she gets hurt she wants a man to be able to get her to safety. My husband is a large man I like that. When I was pregnant and in hard labor he had to carry me to the car I waited too long and I was in severe pain I didn't want to move. In most circumstances another guy won't bother you if they know your man is a big guy! We had a problem with a nieghbor once and he was getting mouthy with me I didn't say a word I didn't do anything to the guy he was drunk and billigerant my husband came out and simply said is there somthing I can do for you? The guy just walked back in his house.

I think that they think that a tall man is sort of like a MANLY man, a good protector and all that stuff. Also they could be think if you are tall, than you have large hands or feet, and if you have large hands or feet then you have a large...other part of your body.

a lot of my friends will only date taller men because, they think it's weird to kiss a man who is shorter to them. and they don't want to marry some guy who is shorter than them, and they have to bend down and kiss their husband on their wedding day. plus when their tall they look a lot more pretective. And that way it doesn't look like their bf if weak and can't protect them.

because it's not cool for a guy to be shorter than the girl herself. He should be at least taller than the girl, not WAY tall, but you know.

a lot of it is the need to feel protected. If a guy is all short and not veyr big in general a woman is going to assume he's not going to be as good at defending her. Survival of the fittest i suppose.

Taller guys are usually calmer Shorter guys tend to carry a chip on thier shoulder and because they are "tougher" as one person put it they are more prone to violence.

Aslo no woman wants to (Ideally) introduce her love to someoneelse and he is shorter than her, and lts not forget basic human proportions taller mean uaually mean bigger 'apendages' and more muscle for 'movement'

Well for me, because I am a tall female 6'2".

I'm 6'1" and hubby is 5'6 1/2"

He's a bigger man than any other man I have ever met. I don't judge by height.

hmmm, good observation.. well, tall implies the guy is stronger ( short guys also look kinda boyish and wudnt be taken seriously i guess) and stronger implies tht he wud protect his lady-love (ahem, excuse the french) from any physical distress she might be in..
