Does the cold weather bring frizziness to your hair....or is it.....?

The air becomes dry and full of static and that's why your hair stands on end. In the summer, it's more humid and your hair is more likely to lie flat like an ice cream cone in the dirt.

It does have to do with the colder weather because of the heat being on. I have a problem with static and frizzy hair in the coldness and my friend who is a hair stylist told me to spray in leave in conditioner (also called detangler). Otherwise you could use a straightner those work really good.

there's way more moisture in the air during winter.. think Rain and Snow season! during summer everything gets evaporated.. altho yes, it can get humid and then ur hair is still screwed (like at the beach... my hair goes crazy) but on a dry hot day, my hair is a lot less frizzy!

I don't think temperature has a big impact, but humidity does. Moist air will tend to make your hair revert to its natural state. Very dry air allows for more static buildup.

Huh, I have very thick curly hair & it is way frizzier in the summer when it's hot & humid. The dry cold winter air gives me lots of good hair days.

It is the humidity, not the temperature., that brings frizziness to hair.

well warm weather can make ir frizzy but cold weather makes it dry out and it can appear frizzy
