how would you know that you have ran into a spritual master.?

No logics and explanations can explain it

You will know when you are with one...your whole being will vibrate with positive vibes

By the persons actions, walking the talk and talking the walk. What might be a spiritual master for one person might not be for another. I am hoping to find my next one, I need a little help and guidance on this new journey I am about to embark on.

(interesting side note... notice that everyone up to my answer assumed the spiritual master must be a he...)

There is a very good example of this in a book written by Luke. Two disciples walked along the road to Emmaus and Jesus walked with them though they didn't recognize him immediately. He taught them and then when he left, they suddenly realized that they had "run into a spiritual master". They said to each other, "Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?"

The Holy Spirit testifies truth in our hearts with a "burning in the bosom". This is true, because I have experienced it, and no, it wasn't heartburn. ;-)

Thankfully, your heart will know by the words the master speaks, before your mind realizes what's going on. Your heart will move you listen and respond. You'll know the feeling when it happens. Not to worry, the master will know you.

I've been told that if you're dealing with 'a devil' you'll feel anger/fear after they leave your presence and if you're dealing with an 'angel' you will feel fear in their presence and have the feeling of peace when they leave.

I'm sure I've ran into more than 1 but didn't know it at the time.
