Meditation is an emptying of the mind. I see a lot of non-Christians using meditation. It reflects in their questions and answers.

Inner calmness, peace, and perspective. I am a novice meditator by most standards. I tend to meditate when I realize I am getting out of sync or stressed and it helps me immensely. I want to get to where I just incorporate it into my daily life though. I meditated everyday for two weeks and found that I was not getting to that stressed out place and staying much more grounded. Then things got hectic and I broke the routine. I think meditation can have many of the same benefits that some people get from prayer. It doesn't have to be a religious exercise though but a spiritual one.

Meditation is not needed. If you are going to do anything, fast.Fasting is denying yourself a worldly necessity such as food for spiritual nourishment.

Many have said in the past, in editorials and various reports that meditation can sometimes give demons a gateway into your mind and spirit.Sometimes it makes your mind weak.

Meditation is being in the state of no thought. You can either sit in on place or you can do what you do with complete concentration!

MNeditation is a form of drawing into the spirit. To be in the spirit is to be absent in the flesh. You can't walk in the spirit and in the flesh. You will love one and hate the other.
