How to remove unwanted applications from the Taskbar ?

Msconfi is not available in win 2000, however there is a neat little program that will do much the same.

You have some options

a) Kill the processes by finding that process in the task manager. To invoke Task Manager.... Start -> Run -> taskman. This will remove that process till you boot the machine

b) Uninstall the programm if you dont need it anymore.

c) See if the shortcut has been placed in the Start->All Programs->Startup menu. Remove unwanted programs from there

d) <Use with care> Modify the registry.

Start->Run-> regedit

Expand and find and remove unwanted process entries from the following registry keys. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

go to the taskbar. Right click on unwanted application then u ll get delete option there. Click on that . So simple
