In this day and age, I think women are just as capable of being in demand for a friends with benefits relationship, so I don't want to bag on the guys....sometimes people just want a non-commited way of having some perks of a relationship...

B/c women are willing to give it up w/o any committment, of course men are going to take advantage. Truth of the matter is though that once you become a friend w/ benefits, you never become anything more to the guy, but women feelings change and they start wanting more so we sale ourselves short when we sleep w/ men and get nothing in return.

A lot of girls now want to do this now, so tone down the sexism. People think that this leads to less emotional entanglements, but what they don't tend to realize is that when one person puts more emotion into it then the other that it can be very traumatizing to the person with the stronger feelings.

You answered your own question. But it's not just men, women are kind of shying away from the whole scary committment thing as well. But from personal experience I can tell you that it's not as easy as it sounds.

You just answered your own question honey. My two cents to that is, it's highly in demand because it's tolerated. People(with low self-esteem), would rather have a little love than no love. The truth is, they haven't realized that it isn't love at all.It's Love's lazy, limited cousin.... Lust!

yep guys are kind of trying to get out of committment I think they just want to have fun w/u and that's it. I think when they get older then they are ready to settle down and committ.

Its definatly because nobod wants commitment, and it probaly wouldn't be so popular if people weren't so easy

well, men always want sex without commitment. you can't blame them for being born male. And I think in our culture, people think they are too busy for relationships, too busy for everything. too stressed. they just want things to be easy, no emotions, no attachments, just come and go as you please.

that applies to women to we have fwb to and yeah we all just wanna have a little fun.
